Action Research Day Conference at CREC

04-Mar-2013

Over the past few years there has been a massive growth in the number of Children’s Centres which are being operated on a ‘cluster’ or ‘locality’ basis with one leader having responsibility for several multi-agency teams across a number of sites. The structure and form of these models differs from region to region but there are common challenges that are often incredibly complex due to their multi-site, multi-agency context.

CREC, in conjunction with Mike Gasper (author of ‘Multi-agency working in the Early Years’, Sage, 2010) would like to invite Locality leaders to an action research day to explore what locality leadership means in practice, how the model can be implemented and adapted to individual contexts and what areas are in need of further development.
