Attend one of our SCITT events this Autumn

Early years are crucial for learning and development and impact on lifelong learning, behaviour and wellbeing. Would you like to help guide and shape lives of our children? By joining our primary SCITT programme with an early years specialism, you can become a qualified teacher to support and nurture children’s development and help them thrive.
We have a couple of open days coming up at our teaching base in central Birmingham to offer all those interested in training to teach early years/primary the opportunity to have all their teacher training questions answered by our knowledgeable SCITT staff.
Please see below for details:

  - SCITT OPEN EVENING - by appointment only; Monday 14th October, 4 – 6 pm .

- SCITT OPEN DAY including a tour of St Thomas Nursery School to give you a clear idea of the life of an early years teacher; Thursday 24th October, 1 – 3pm.

There will also be the opportunity to talk to past students about their experiences of the course.
Both of those events will be run at CREC (3rd floor, St. Thomas Children's Centre, B15 2AF).
We have some free parking adjacent to the centre, available on a first come first served basis, alternatively you will find good train and bus links locally. See our contact page for a map.
Places on these days are limited so if you would like to join us then please book your place; it will be lovely to welcome you to CREC!
You can’t make either of the dates above?
Don’t worry. You can also find us at the two upcoming Get into Teaching events in November.
 - GET INTO TEACHINGMonday, 11th November, Birmingham University, 4:30 – 8pm

 - GET INTO TEACHINGSaturday, 23rd November, Warwick University, 12 – 4pm
