25-Jan-2016 Having had feedback from quite a number of regular BECERA attendees regarding the increasing difficulties of attending conferences due to finance and work commitments, we have for this year only, decided to condense the programme into one intensive day to allow more people to attend and participate.

Therefore, this year’s BECERA conference will now be a one-day conference to be held on Tuesday 16th February. There will still be two keynotes as planned and over 20 symposium papers presented from a wide range of early years practitioners and researchers, but these have been compacted into 2 symposia sets, each with 4 groups of presentations containing 3 papers each.

To reflect the condensed programme, we have also halved the conference fee and tickets are now priced at just £99 per person (including VAT)! The conference dinner will still go ahead as advertised, so if you haven’t done so already, get your ticket booked as places are limited!

NB: Anyone that has already booked their ticket, your invoice will reflect this new price and will be sent out shortly (you were notified by email earlier today).

We hope that you are not too disappointed about our decision but we are sure that BECERA will still be a warm, supportive and interactive space for those interested in early years research and that by making the conference more accessible, more people can join in this year.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the conference administration directly via email on: or via telephone: 0121 464 0026.
