Upcoming Teacher Training events

The CREC Early Years Partnership (CEYP) School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) programme offers a one-year full-time school based route to qualification as a Primary Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through a specialist Early Years Route. Our programme enables and supports trainees to become committed, confident and reflective teachers, with the ability to respond to the challenges of the profession and impact positively on children's capacity to learn. Through a carefully co-constructed programme, we offer efficient personalised support to trainees, recognising and building on the skills and expertise of individuals.

Face-to-face meetings at the centre offer a great opportunity to get all your questions about teaching and teacher training answered and you will be able to:
 - meet representatives and teachers from our Partnership, find out more about the course, our entry requirements and selection criteria
 - receive advice on submitting a successful UCAS application
 - talk to practising teachers and/or current students, including those who have changed career to teach, about what career as a teacher/ teacher in training is really like
 - find out about bursaries, scholarships and funding available for teacher training
