Dissertation Module

Accreditation: 60 PG credits | Cost: £1200

This module is designed for Early Years practitioners to carry out a substantial research based investigation on an issue pertaining to their own practice or service and present it in the form of a dissertation. Students will be required to:

• Develop a theoretical framework for research;
• Identify and justify the choice of research methodology;
• Identify an appropriate research strategy;
• identify and adopt appropriate research methods;
• Analyse data and report findings in the format of a 15,000 word dissertation.

This module is open to students who have already (or are shortly due to have) completed 120 credits on the MA in Education.
