Engagement: sparkly trinket or long-term connection?

You probably hear, and use, the word 'engagement' a lot. We want children & students to be engaged with their learning, and we hope that others will engage with our research.

But what do we mean by engagement, and how does it happen?

Nicky will share with us findings from her PhD on how very young children engage with museums. She will also present a theoretical model to describe engagement with objects & spaces that she is keen to gather feedback on from colleagues working in other contexts.
