Early Years Inspections Digital Conference

Join Westminster Insight’s timely Early Years Inspections Digital Conference on 29th February 2024 to review the latest updates to the EYIF and understand current areas of focus for inspections. Chaired by PACEY’s Chief Executive Helen Donohoe, learn how you can embed professional confidence in your setting and embed school improvement.

We will discuss the seven key features of Early Years practice and how to embed high-quality pedagogy.

How can you effectively demonstrate your knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and continually drive for improvement? Hear from ‘Outstanding’ case studies focused on sequenced curriculum design that incorporates Ofsted’s Early Learning Goals and cultural capital into everyday provision. We will highlight the characteristics of effective teaching and learning to ensure children in your setting are school-ready. Gill Jones MBE, Former Deputy Director for Schools and Early Education, Ofsted will discuss practical steps you can take to prepare for your inspection.

Rachel Buckler, Co-Chair of Northwest Ofsted Big Conversation will discuss meeting safeguarding expectations and promoting wellbeing in your setting. The pandemic and cost-of-living crisis has disrupted children’s speech and language development and limited access to opportunities to explore the world. Join us to learn how best to support parents and children in addressing developmental gaps.

We will learn how to embed robust systems of self-reflection into everyday practice fostering diversity and inclusivity within Early Years provision.

Attend to network with peers across the EYFS sector to share knowledge and lessons of best practice.
