Nicola Burke
Nicola Burke MA, BA (Hons) is an independent early childhood consultant, author, researcher, and leadership coach with over 26 years’ experience working across early childhood education, music and professional development. She is passionate about connecting research, theory and practice to support meaningful change for children, families and the professionals who work with them. Nicola is Co-founder and Director of The Family Music Hub and is the author of Musical Development Matters in the Early Years. She is an associate consultant with Early Education and worked as part of the collaborative team developing Birth to Five Matters. She works nationally and internationally with early years settings, local authorities, organisations and educators with a focus on music, communication, relationships, leadership and reflective practice. Nicola brings an engaging, practical and evidence-informed approach to professional learning, consultancy and coaching, supporting practitioners and leaders to develop confidence, agency and impactful practice.
